Mixologists Kelly and Brooke took the stage at the 2025 Fall Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show over Labor Day Weekend. Their official Home Show Happy Hour brought the event to a new level as they shook up two crowd-pleasing drinks perfect for savoring the last days of summer.
Whether you’re hosting friends, cooling off after a long day, or just looking to try something new, these cocktails are simple, fresh, and full of personality—perfect for any occasion.
The Caipirinha
A zesty mix of lime, sugar, and cachaça that’s as easy to make as it is to enjoy. Crisp, bright, and perfectly balanced, it’s a go-to for anyone who loves a refreshing, no-fuss drink.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz of Cachaca (leblon)
- .5 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
- .5 oz simple syrup
Shake well and pour over a glass of ice
The Strawberry Caipiroska
For a sweet spin, Brooke’s Strawberry Caipiroska swaps cachaça for vodka and muddles in fresh strawberries for a fruity kick. It’s light, vibrant, and a guaranteed hit at any happy hour.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz veil strawberry vodka
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- .5 oz simple syrup
Add a few strawberries with ice to the shaker. Shake and strain over a glass of ice.
