Tonight’s the night design fans have been waiting for…the premiere of Rock the Block Season 7 on HGTV. And for us, this season feels a little more personal.
Why? Because some of the standout stars hitting the screen are names we’ve had the chance to welcome right here at our Home Design and Remodeling Shows.
There’s something special about seeing familiar faces from our stages step into the spotlight on a national level. It’s a reminder that the talent, insight, and energy they bring to our events truly represent the best in the industry.
Ty Pennington at the Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show
Take Ty Pennington, for example, this season’s Rock the Block host and one of the most recognized names in home renovation television. Having him at the Fort Lauderdale Home Show this past August was a highlight. Ty brought his signature charisma and decades of experience, connecting with attendees in a way that felt genuine and inspiring. Whether sharing renovation advice or just chatting with fans, his presence added a level of excitement that carried throughout the entire weekend.
Drew Lachey at the Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show
Then in January, we had the pleasure of hosting Drew Lachey at the Fort Lauderdale Home Show. Best known as a member of 98 Degrees and as a Dancing with the Stars champion, Drew brought a fresh perspective, blending his entertainment background with his passion for home and design. He brought great energy to the show floor, exactly what you want from someone who’s now competing on a high-stakes design series like Rock the Block on HGTV.
Taniya Nayak’s Surprise Appearance – and Her Return to Palm Beach
And speaking of Drew, one of the most memorable moments from that January show was an unexpected one, when Taniya Nayak made a surprise appearance to support her Rock the Block Season 7 partner. It was a full-circle moment that brought a behind-the-scenes connection from the show right into our space, and attendees got to witness that dynamic in real time.
Now, we’re looking ahead to Memorial Day Weekend, when we’ll welcome Taniya back to the Palm Beach Home Design and Remodeling Show. Having her return feels especially exciting given her role in this new season. She brings not only an incredible track record with design competitions as the winner of HGTV’s Battle on the Beach Season 4. She brings not only incredible design expertise, but also a vibrant personality that resonates with audiences both on-screen and in person.
