The Palm Beach Home Design and Remodeling Show brings home inspiration, expert advice, innovative products, and industry professionals together under one roof. As part of the Live Culinary Experience, attendees also enjoyed Home Show Happy Hour, a relaxed, interactive demo where guests gathered ideas for their own gatherings by learning to craft two refreshing cocktails made for South Florida summers.
Guests joined Brooke and Kelly for a live mixology session full of tropical flavors, fresh ingredients, and plenty of laughs. It was easily one of the highlights of the weekend. Brooke’s Palm Beach Vice
A tropical blend that delivers sweet strawberry, creamy coconut, and bright citrus with an unexpected hint of chocolate bitters.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Malibu Rum
- 0.5 oz lime juice
- 0.75 oz strawberry puree
- 0.5 oz coconut puree
- 3–5 dashes chocolate Aztec bitters
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake until chilled and well combined.
- Strain into a glass and garnish as desired.
This one felt like Palm Beach in a glass — the perfect pour for anyone dreaming of pool days, sunshine, and slow summer weekends.
Kelly’s Palm Royale Margarita
A tropical take on the classic margarita, combining tequila, grapefruit, coconut, and lime for a refreshing sip that suits sunny days and breezy evenings alike.
Ingredients
- 2 oz silver tequila
- 1.5 oz Grand Marnier
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 oz Coco Real (cream of coconut)
- 4 oz grapefruit juice
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
- Shake thoroughly.
- Pour over fresh ice into a salt-rimmed glass and garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
Bright, citrusy, and dangerously easy to drink, no surprise this one had attendees taking notes mid-demo.
